These were inspired concepts based on the guns from the old N64 FPS game Perfect Dark. They had some of the best guns in any video game I’ve ever played. Super fun to use. Anyway here’s the dragon and the Super Dragon. The super has larger bullet, longer distance and a larger fuel capacity. These were really fun to work on.
Gun prototypes - Did these using gun images from the internet and photoshopped them into new more interesting weapons. I want to do a bunch of paint over and add and modify some of the details so they seem a little more futuristic.
This is a work in progress of a world map for a sword fighting rpg for the ipad. I’m trying to feel out a few different visual approaches so its a little rough while I explore details and style. Its been really fun. I stayed up too late working on this tonight. Fun, fun fun. Below are some new sword designs as well.
Finally had a bit of free time to do a sketch in my sketchbook. Its been awhile. Character needs its proportions tweaked but overall it was a fun outcome. Future sniper and robot dog.
Did some more tweaking, figured I’d put it here.
@lou Bad ass portrait work man!
@Em That Comic is gonna rock hard core if the whole thing is done to that level of finish. Love it!
Third page, completed! Pretty sure this is gonna be the style I wanna go with.
Only problem is I now have to redo the first two pages.
Work in progress on the second page. All the flats are down, still working on coloring style. Think i’m getting it down though. Also trying to block out dialog SOMEWHAT earlier in the design process—it’s on here so my editor-friend can approve it.
i regret doing an intense lighting situation to try and figure out how the hell to color things.
fully colored and with demo dialog. I’m probably going to wind up changing the font, it’s a little hard to read.
also need to map out where the hell the dialog bubbles are going BEFORE drawing everything.
Trying a different approach for page 2—inking everything and then doing a more flat-ish coloring. I’m hoping I’ll be able to go a bit faster that way. This does, however, mean that the first page is gonna be wildly different from the second—but oh well, it’s a demo!
